1970’s RaySport New Old Stock Original Finish

I am riding this bike this season (2005). We built it up over the winter with mostly NOS gear we had in the shop, hence the goofy tires. They are very nice hand made but an ugly orange color. They ride great though and vintage sewup’s are hard to come by and silly to waste on everyday use. Cut out bottom bracket with “R” and Cinelli like lugs, 531 tube set. Very nicely made it is one of the sweetest riding bikes ever. Typical thin paint and chrome but frame/lug work is very nicely done. I plan on taking it on RAGBRAI 2005. I was told it was made in the early to mid 1970’s in Mexico. It was in original factory packaging when we received it. Built with Campagnolo Nuovo Record gear, OMAS crankset, GS pedals, 3ttt Record stem, Weinmann brakes, hand built DT DB spokes Wolber/Super Champion ASPIN rims, all top end gear.
